General Information and Guidelines

The details of
the social and parallel reservations for the aforementioned cadre/posts are as
per the government's requisition.

There is a
possibility of changes in the number of posts and reservations as per the
government's instructions.

Information/changes
regarding the number of posts and reservations will be published on the Commission's
website from time to time.
·
Social and
parallel reservations for various backward classes, women, meritorious
sportspersons, orphans, etc., will be as per the orders issued by the
government from time to time.
·
Candidates
claiming to belong to Vimukta Jati (A), Nomadic Tribes (B), Nomadic Tribes (C),
and Nomadic Tribes (D), Special Backward Class, Socially and Educationally
Backward Class, and Other Backward Classes must clearly state in the
application that they do not belong to the advanced and progressive
class/group. They also need to submit a valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate in
the prescribed format issued by the competent authority.

As per the
Government Decision, Women and Child Development Department, dated May 4, 2023,
the condition of submitting Non-Creamy Layer certificate has been waived for
women from unreserved category and women from all backward categories for
selection to posts reserved for unreserved women.
·
For women from
other backward classes (excluding Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes) who
wish to claim reservation in posts reserved for women from the respective
backward class, the provisions regarding submission of Non-Creamy Layer
certificate as prescribed by the Other Backward and Bahujan Welfare Department and
the General Administration Department will apply.

Women candidates
claiming reservation for women must clearly state in the application that they
are domiciled in Maharashtra and, for women from all backward classes except
Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, that they belong to the Non-Creamy Layer
