Age Limit:

 Minimum: 21 years

Maximum: 38 years (General) / 43 years (Reserved)

No age limit for current government employees.   

Driving License: Valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) license as per Motor Vehicle Act, 1988   

Experience: Minimum 3 years of light or heavy motor vehicle driving experience as of the application date   


Other:

 Clean driving record   

Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic repairs   

Familiarity with Mumbai's topography   

Physically fit and non-addicted   

Good character and conduct   

Capable of entering into a contract   

Not convicted of any moral turpitude offense   

Not disqualified from any previous examinations/selections   

No pending criminal cases   

Should not have more than one living spouse   

Must adhere to small family norms (not more than two children after 28th March 2006)   


Selection Process: 

Written Exam (20 marks)

Objective type questions on vehicle maintenance, Mumbai city knowledge, and general knowledge.   

Driving Test (10 marks)   

Experience (10 marks)   

Interview (10 marks)   


Important Notes:

Candidates must attend tests/interviews at their own expense.   

The High Court administration reserves the right to make changes to the recruitment process.

The candidate should have passed at least M.Sc (10th) or equivalent examination.

Candidates should be able to read and write Marathi and Hindi and should be fluent in English.

The candidate should be at least 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on the date of publication of the advertisement. The age limit for candidates belonging to the Backward Classes will be 23 years. There is no upper age limit for Judicial Employees and Government Employees.
